Dr. Ch. Uma Maheswara Rao is a skilled and dedicated surgeon specializing in General Surgery and Urology, with a particular focus on renal transplantation. He completed his MBBS at Rangaraya Medical College, Andhra University, in 1992, followed by an MS in General Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1997. Dr. Ch. Uma Maheswara Rao famously known as Dr. Chikkam has developed extensive expertise in renal transplantation, beginning with advanced training in the Kidney Transplant Division at PGIMER. Over his career, he has successfully performed more than 2,000 kidney transplants, establishing himself as a leader in this highly specialized field.
