Overview:

Dr. Ganesh Kasinadhuni is a highly acclaimed senior interventional cardiologist with over 10 years of clinical experience, working at KIMS Hospitals, Seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam. He is known for his outstanding academic background, having earned his MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Cardiology from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. He further honed his skills as a senior research fellow at PGIMER, specializing in complex procedures such as left main stentings, bifurcation stentings, and rotational atherectomy (rotablation). He is also proficient in intravascular imaging techniques like OCT and IVUS, which guide complex stenting procedures for optimal long-term outcomes. With over 50 co-authored research papers, he is deeply committed to academic excellence and evidence-based medicine. Dr. Kasinadhuni has also contributed as an investigator in clinical trials, including his role as a co-investigator in the landmark ILLUMIEN IV randomized international trial utilizing OCT imaging. He is an invited national faculty at several prestigious conferences, where he chairs academic sessions and presents challenging complex stenting procedures he has successfully performed. He has also showcased his expertise in complex stenting at international conferences, including TCT 2024 in the USA and EUROPCR 2024 in France. 

Dr. Ganesh Kasinadhuni also specializes in endovascular procedures (treating narrowed arteries outside the heart). He performs stenting for blockages in various arteries, including the neck (carotid stenting), upper limbs (brachiocephalic and subclavian stenting), abdominal arteries (coeliac, superior mesenteric and renal stenting), and lower limbs (iliac, femoral, and below knee angioplasty). Additionally, he has successfully performed complex aortic stent graft procedures, such as TEVAR and EVAR, for thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Intervention Experience:

  1. Performed more than 1500 Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) as an independent operator.
  2. Expert in complex coronary interventions which include Left main coronary stenting, Bifurcation stenting, chronic total occlusion stentings (CTO), Rotational atherectomy (more than 50) and orbital atherectomy.
  3. Performed more than 100 left main interventions including crossover stenting and dedicated bifurcation with 2 stent strategy
  4. Proctor for OCT and performed, analysed more than 100 PCIs with IVUS 
  5. Performed more than 300 Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs) that include single and dual chamber pacemaker, ICD and CRT-D implantations. 
  6. Valvular Heart disease interventions – PBMV, PBPV, BAV
  7. Device closure for congenital heart diseases – ASD, PDA, VSD
  8. Heart failure and arrhythmia treatment
