Dr. Sonali Paradhi Mhatre is a highly experienced and accomplished Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician, with over 12 years of expertise in the field. She holds an MBBS degree from Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai, and a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Pediatrics from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai. She has also completed the IAP Fellowship in Neonatology from Neocare Hospital, Nashik, and is certified in Neonatal Functional ECHO (nfECHO) and Bedside Ultrasound (POCUSIn). Additionally, she is an International Board Certified Lactational Consultant (IBCLC) and has completed the PGPN program through Boston University, USA.
Dr. Sonali’s extensive training at prestigious institutions such as Sir J.J. Hospital and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, along with her hands-on experience in leading hospitals like SRCC Children’s Hospital, Cloudnine hospital and Wadia Children’s Hospital, has shaped her into an expert in handling complex neonatal cases. Dr. Sonali excels in managing complex cases of preterm, low birth weight, and critically ill neonates, utilizing conventional and high-frequency ventilation techniques. Her expertise extends to neonatal emergencies and surgical cases, making her a trusted figure in neonatology.
With a strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation, Dr. Sonali has enhanced her skills by undergoing specialized training in Neonatal and pediatric bedside ECHO and ultrasound. As the 2024 Joint Secretary of the Nashik IAP, she actively promotes medical education and serves as a mentor to young pediatricians. Dr. Sonali has presented her research at national and international conferences, including the prestigious Pediatric Critical Care Conference in London in 2018.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Sonali has founded “Neonatohub,” a Neonatology Training platform on social media that has trained numerous pediatric residents and fellows over the past seven years. She has contributed to various publications and is the primary author of the book “Pediatric Residency Made Easy.” She has also organized and participated in multiple pediatric and neonatal conferences as a faculty member. In 2024, she launched “Nashik PULSE” (Pediatric Updates for Learning & Skill Enhancement), the first Pediatric Academic Bulletin of Nashik, further cementing her commitment to advancing the field of pediatrics.
