Dr. Sri Harsha Talluri is the only surgical oncologist in the twin cities to receive MS and M.Ch. Surgical oncology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi.
He was the topper in both General Surgery and Surgical Oncology residency programs from the premier institute of medical training in the country.
He has extensive experience managing advanced ovarian cancer patients with cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), EPIC (Early postoperative Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), and PIPAC.
He is also trained in minimally invasive oncosurgery in performing advanced laparoscopic procedures like Laparoscopic Abdominoperineal resections, Ultralow/low anterior resections, pelvic exenterations, Laparoscopic colectomy, Laparoscopic Radical Gastrectomy, minimally invasive esophagectomy (Lap + VATS), VATS (Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery) lung resections.
He has gained experience in oncoplastic breast surgery from stalwarts in the field of breast surgery and offers breast conservation surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, reconstructive breast surgery, along with mastectomy in the management of breast cancer patients. He has vast experience managing early and locally advanced head and neck cancers requiring complex resections and thyroid cancers.
He is trained in the multidisciplinary management of soft tissue sarcomas of retroperitoneum and extremity and offers complex limb salvage and organ-sparing procedures.
He also performs open/laparoscopic partial/radical nephrectomy and cystectomy to manage urinary tract malignancies.
