Dr. Sudeep Verma pursued his training in pediatrics at MGM medical College - Maharaja Yashwantrao Holkar Hospital (MYH) and Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (CNBC), Indore (Madhya Pradesh). Later worked as pediatric intensivist and pediatric cardiac intensivist at B J Wadia Hospital for children Mumbai and Narayana Hrudyalaya Bangalore respectively. He persued his speciality training in pediatric cardiology from K M Cherian Heart Foundation - Frontier Lifeline Hopsital in Chennai. Subsequently he worked as a consultant at CARE hospital Banjara Hills Hyderabad in Department of pediatric Cardiology

Areas of Interest:

He performs several paediatric cardiac interventional procedures for a wide range of diseases in pediatric age group and in GUCH ( Grown Ups with Congenital Heart diseases) population, including routine procedures like septal defects (ASD, VSD) and PDA closure, balloon valvuloplasty for pulmonary and aortic valve stenosis and cardiac catheterization and angiograms. He has special training in neonatal and complex procedures like PDA stenting, RVOT stenting, pulmonary valve perforation , coarctation stenting and fistula closures. He has a special interest in hemodynamic assessment through echocardiography and cardiac catheterization. Also he has special interest in cardiac imaging through CT and MRI and advanced cardiac interventions.

Achievements:

He was part of the team who performed first successful fetal cardiac intervention in country. Also he was part of the team who conducted first national workshop dedicated for trancatheter VSD closure. He was part of various workshops with live transcatheter transmissions at national and international level. He was part of various ECG , ECHO and cardiac transcatheter interventional workshops for training of cardiologist as well as pediatricians.

Academic Achievements:

As a practising pediatric cardiologist since last 4 years he had nine publications in various national and international journals. Also He was awarded as best case presentor during Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society Conference in New Delhi 2014.
