Educational qualification:
- MBBS (2005-2011) from Mamatha Medical College, Khammam
- MD (2012-2015) in General Medicine from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada
- DM (2016-2019) in Gastroenterology from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad
Clinical Experience:
- I had done my DM Gastroenterology from Gandhi medical college, one of the best medical schools in the country. The gastroenterology department at Gandhi medical college is busy and a high-volume center. We did 3000-4000 upper GI endoscopies, 800-1200 colonoscopies, and 260-280 ERCP procedures per year at our institute. We have a dedicated Liver intensive care unit to treat our sick patients. We have great exposure to hands-on training for all basic general Gastroenterology procedures at our program.
- Worked for the duration of one the year 2019-2020 at Yashoda, Somajiguda hospital with very good diagnostic and therapeutic work. Experience in all procedures both elective and advanced; Excellence inpatient approach and clinical research during this one year.
- Performed diagnostic and therapeutic procedures even in covid positive patients during this pandemic.
Diagnostic Endoscopy Procedures:
- I have performed and reported more than 2000 diagnostic Upper GI endoscopies.
- I have done about 120 proctosigmoidoscopies and more than 300 colonoscopies.
Therapeutic Endoscopy Procedures:
- I have managed over various presentations of upper and lower gi bleeds, both electively and emergently. All modalities of management with EVL, Glue injection, APC, Hemospray, Local adrenaline injection, Hypertonic saline submucosal injection, Hemoclip application, sclerotherapy, and balloon tamponade.
- Good experience with management of strictures esophageal, gastric, and biliary with good outcomes
- Advance procedures of EMR, Polypectomy both snare and band are done on a routine basis.
ERCP and Other Procedures:
- I have done over 100 ERCP in our center for various indications like choledocholithiasis, biliary pancreatitis, carcinoma head of the pancreas, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic ascites, etc.
- I have performed more than 50 liver biopsies, 35 ultrasound-guided liver abscess drainage (25 pig-tail placements), and 25 ultrasound-guided FNAC of the liver.
EUS – Diagnostics & Therapeutics:
- I have assisted in 50 EUS procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
- Good experience in 3rd space endoscopic procedures of POEM, ESD, STER
- Independent experience in performing EUS-FNAC, Cystogastrostomy
