Kims KIMS HOSPITALS AND PORTEA MEDICAL ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO DELIVER WORLD CLASS HOME MEDICAL CARE

KIMS Hospitals, the largest corporate healthcare group in Telanganga and Andhra Pradesh, and Portea Medical, India’s leading home healthcare company, today announced a partnership to expand the delivery of Portea’s comprehensive, tech-enabled home healthcare services to patients of KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad and Kondapur.

Following the agreement, patients discharged from the two KIMS facilities will receive medical care that is customized to their requirements and delivered in the patient’s home. Depending on the specific patient requirements, Portea’s comprehensive offering will include five components:

In-person medical care delivery by Portea Medical’s doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and nursing attendants;

Provision of medical equipment on rental / sale;
Collection of lab samples and delivery of medical reports;
Point-of-care medical devices for continuous monitoring; and
Ongoing patient support via phone / chat provided by Portea’s clinicians
Portea’s services will be provided in close collaboration with specialists from KIMS Hospitals.
