The increasing prevalence of diabetes, a growing population of elderly people with multiple conditions, changing patient expectations, and the development of new treatments and technologies are changing the dynamics of diabetes care. At KIMS we are dedicated to addressing this problem with state-of-the-art diabetology services which includes - equipment used for early screening, teaching diabetic patients to manage the disease (awareness and counseling) and best treatment procedures for patients cure.
KIMS recognizes the need for local services to prioritize quality care and efficiency so that people with diabetes have access to the full range of diabetes skills and expertise. Our highly skilled and committed diabetic consultant teams deliver a greater amount of routine diabetes care, including much of the day-to-day support for many people with diabetes. Our multidisciplinary specialist diabetes team from diabetes-specific nurses and dieticians to doctors remains the hub and spoke of high-quality care for all. We offer patient-focused care since we believe people with diabetes should be supported to make any lifestyle changes necessary and empowered to care for themselves, wherever possible, through the provision of effective education and collaborative care planning.
